Registrations for the event have come through 590 community organizations, all of which have signed on as welcome partners from across the United States. The attendees at the event will include a wide range of people from several religious communities including members of the Jewish, Parsi, Jain, Christian, Sikh, Muslim and Hindu communities. They also represent a significant cross section of India’s diverse languages ​​including Hindi, Telugu, Punjabi, Tamil, Bengali, Malayalam, Gujarati and others.

The event is taking place just ahead of the US presidential election in November. Apart from Prime Minister Modi’s speech, it will also feature cultural programs by prominent Indian Americans from business, science, entertainment and the arts. But after more than 24 thousand registrations, general registration is now open for others. In this, 500 seats will be allotted through a lottery system.
