A Punjab Police spokesperson said that Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP) Deputy Ameer Pir Zahirul Hasan Shah has been arrested under terrorism and other charges. He was hiding in Okara city of eastern Punjab province. The arrest was made after an FIR was registered against him for a speech given during a rally held outside the Lahore Press Club against the Supreme Court’s verdict in the Mubarak Sani case.
