He said that he would appoint an advisory council to prepare transparent regulatory guidance for the benefit of the entire industry. Trump made several promises about ‘cryptocurrency’ during the Bitcoin Conference on Saturday, including the promise to remove Securities and Exchange Commission Chairman Gary Gensler and create a ‘Strategic National Bitcoin Reserve’.
