US President Joe Biden is far ahead in terms of taking leave from work, you will be stunned to know the figure

Washington: Often people complain that they do not get leave from their work, but can you imagine that the President of America is ahead of a common man in terms of taking leave. He has taken 532 days leave in his 4-year term. A recent analysis by the Republican National Committee has shown that US President Joe Biden has spent a lot of time on holidays during his tenure. According to the data, 81-year-old Biden has taken 532 days of leave in less than four years, which is about 40 percent of his time in office.

The average American citizen gets 11 leaves every year
This means that President Biden has accumulated more holidays in a short period than the average American worker in about five decades. The average American gets 11 days of leave per year, making President Biden’s vacation time equivalent to about 48 years of vacation days for the average citizen. Critics argue that the timing of the president’s extensive vacations is inappropriate, especially at a time of global uncertainty and domestic challenges.

Many people criticized Biden

On this matter, Mark Paoletta, former general counsel of the White House Budget Office, said, “The image of Biden lying on his back and fast asleep in his chair on the beach at a time when America and the world are on fire will define Biden.”

Critics have also pointed to issues such as inflation, border security and international conflict, suggesting that the president should focus more on addressing these concerns.

What do the president’s aides say?

However, presidential aides say that President Biden, like his predecessors, works remotely and is on call even when on vacation. Despite this, some have questioned the frequency and duration of his breaks, with Rep. Nicole Malliotakis (R-Staten Island/Brooklyn) jokingly suggesting that he should take more time off.

Comparing President Biden’s vacation time to previous presidents shows that he has taken more vacations than his predecessors. While former US President Donald Trump spent 26 percent of his presidency on personal travel, President Biden’s ratio is even higher at 40 percent while out of office. In contrast, Ronald Reagan and Barack Obama spent only 11 percent of their two-term tenures on vacation, and Jimmy Carter took only 79 days off during his single term.
