US Presidential Election: Trump stuck in the matter of debating with Kamala Harris? Know who said ‘he is scared’

New York: The political temperature has risen in the US regarding the presidential election. Former US President and Republican Party candidate Donald Trump seems to be backing out from debating with his Democratic Party rival and current Vice President Kamala Harris. Trump has questioned the importance of this potential debate and said that he will “probably” debate, but he “can also argue not to do so.” Harris’s team retorted to Trump’s statement, saying that he is ‘scared.’

Answered with restraint

In an interview aired on Fox News Channel, Trump was questioned several times about debating with Harris, but he answered with more restraint than in recent times. Republican candidate Trump was ready to debate with the current President and then Democratic candidate Joe Biden. But, after Biden’s exit from the race and Harris’s emergence, Trump has questioned the terms of the original debate with Biden.

Trump said this

Trump has suggested that the proposed debate on September 10 on ABC News be held on some other network. He has described ABC as “fake news”. In a phone conversation with reporters last week, Trump was asked if he would debate with Harris at least once. He replied, “Yes, absolutely. I would like to do that.” Trump said that debating is an obligation.

‘Want to debate’

When Trump was repeatedly asked about the debate by host Laura Ingraham in an interview last Monday, he said, “I want to debate, everyone knows who I am and now people know who she is.” The former president finally said, “The answer is yes, I will probably debate.” He said that any debate should be held before the initial voting begins in the states, and then he said, “The answer is yes, but I can also argue not to do so.”
