USA takes major action against Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar and others for October 7 massacre on Israel, foreign organizations also involved

Washington: The US has taken major action regarding the massacre committed by Hamas on Israel on October 7. In this case, the US Justice Department has framed criminal charges against Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar and other terrorists in the case of attack on Israel on October 7, 2023. Let us tell you that Sinwar has been made Hamas chief after the killing of Hamas chief Ismail Haniya alias Ismail Haniyeh. Earlier, Sinwar used to be the second top leader of Hamas.

About 1200 people were killed in the October 7 attack on Israel and the terrorists took about 250 people hostage. Now the criminal complaint filed in a federal court in New York in this case includes charges of conspiring to provide assistance to a foreign terrorist organization. Attorney General Merrick Garland released a video and said, “The charges revealed today are just a part of our effort to target Hamas’ activities. These will not be our last actions.”

Yahya Sinwar has been in the tunnel for 10 months

Sinwar was appointed the head of Hamas after the assassination of Hamas chief Ismail Haniyya in Iran. He is believed to have spent most of the last 10 months in Gaza, in tunnels and it is not clear whether he has contact with the outside world or not. Other accused include Haniya, Marwan Issa, deputy leader of Hamas’ armed wing in Gaza, Khalid Mashal, Mohammed al-Masri and Ali Baraka.
