Harris said that by going there, Trump “insulted this sacred land” during the visit. Harris alleged that “Trump took pictures and got them published at Arlington National Cemetery” despite the federal ban on election campaign activities. Harris on Saturday cited reports in a post on the social media platform ‘X’, which claimed that people associated with Trump’s election campaign team quarreled with a cemetery employee and violated the rules related to the memorial of soldiers who lost their lives in the Agfan War. Despite being reminded about it, Trump took photos and recorded videos near the grave.

Harris said in a post, “Let me make it clear that the former president has insulted sacred land for political gain.” Harris said that Arlington is a sacred place where people come to pay tribute to the brave American soldiers, it is not a place to do ‘political stunts’. He said, “He (Trump) is a person who is unable to understand anything except his own benefit.”
