New York: A suspicious person was seen roaming with a knife at Brooklyn station in America on Sunday. Officers started firing to control the suspect. Passengers were also inadvertently shot in the firing on the suspect. Officials said that the suspect, a police officer and two other people were injured in the incident. They said that when police officers stopped the man for not paying the fare, he threatened the officers by pointing a knife at them. They said that a 49-year-old passenger was admitted to the hospital in critical condition. The bullet hit the man’s head.

The accused threatened the police

The incident took place on the platform of the Sutter Avenue station after 3 pm, said department chief Jeffrey Maddrey. He said, “When the officers stopped the suspect for not paying the fare, he waved a knife towards them. He threatened the officers and said that if they did not stop chasing him, he would kill them all.” He said that several bullets were fired at the 37-year-old man, but they were unable to catch him. Eventually, the man was injured by police bullets, who has been admitted to the hospital and his condition is stable. A 26-year-old woman was also injured in this incident.
