Ankara: There has been an uproar in Turkey after the murder of Ismail Haniya alias Ismail Haniyeh. The uproar increased after the death of Ismail Haniya on the social media networking site Instagram. Turkey’s Information and Communication Technology Authority announced this decision on Friday morning, but did not give any reason for it. The government-close newspaper ‘Yeni Safak’ and other media organizations reported that ‘Instagram’ has removed the posts of people in Turkey in which condolences were expressed on the killing of Hamas political leader Ismail Haniyeh and in response, access to the platform was blocked.
Accusations on Instagram
