Increasing pressure on Biden to withdraw from presidential race, campaign halted due to Covid

President Joe Biden is having to answer new questions about his candidacy in the November election.

For now, his Covid report has come positive, so the campaign has come to a halt.

It is said that the top two Democrats in the US Congress – Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer and House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, have met Biden personally and expressed their concerns.

Biden’s bid to be re-elected as president seems to be in jeopardy due to growing discontent among the top Democrat leadership after his poor debate against Donald Trump last month.

On Wednesday, Biden’s press secretary said that 81-year-old Biden has tested positive for Covid but his infection is not severe.

It has been reported that Biden will remain isolated at his home in Delaware and will continue to carry out his daily chores.
