Israeli army attacks convoy carrying medicines in Gaza, several people killed **

Dubai: The Israeli army has launched a deadly attack on a convoy carrying medical supplies in Gaza. It has been claimed that several people have died in this. However, the exact number of those killed has not been given. It is being told that the Israeli army targeted a convoy carrying medical supplies and fuel to the hospital in the Gaza Strip in a missile attack. Several people of the local transport company died in this attack. An aid group gave this information.

At the same time, Israel claimed that it attacked after the convoy was captured by gunmen. Sandra Rashid, director of the aid group ‘ANERA’ for the Palestinian region, said that several people working in a transport company were killed in this attack, in whose vehicles the aid group was carrying materials for the Emirates Red Crescent Hospital in Rafah. The attack took place on Thursday on Salah al-Din Road in the Gaza Strip and the first vehicle of the convoy was targeted.

Despite the attack, several vehicles delivered medicines to the hospital

Rashid said in a statement, “Despite this barbaric incident, the remaining vehicles in the convoy were able to move forward and successfully deliver aid supplies to the hospital. We are trying to get more information about what exactly happened.” The Israeli army did not immediately respond to a request for comment by The Associated Press on Friday.

However, Israeli army spokesman Lieutenant Colonel Avichay Adrei said in a post on ‘X’ that gunmen captured a jeep in the front of the convoy and started driving it. The target was hit after confirming the possibility of militants attacking the vehicle, as the remaining vehicles in the convoy were not damaged and reached their target as

planned.
