Beirut: The Israeli army has carried out a major attack in southern Lebanon. It is being told that this attack was carried out by Israel early this morning. At least 10 Syrian civilians were killed in this attack. While many people are reported to be injured. The exact number of injured could not be known. Lebanon’s Health Ministry gave this information.
This attack on Wadi al-Kafur in Nabatieh province is considered to be one of the deadliest attacks on Lebanon since the Hezbollah militant group and the Israeli army attacked each other on October 8, a day after Hamas’ attack on southern Israel. Hezbollah says that it will not stop its attacks until there is a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip. According to the ministry, the dead include a woman and her two children. Five others have been injured, two of whom are said to be in critical condition.
Israel attacked Hezbollah’s weapons depot
Israeli ministry spokesman Avichay Adri said Hezbollah’s weapons depot was targeted in this attack in the southern province. Mohammad Shoaib, who runs a slaughterhouse in Wadi al-Kafur, said the attack was carried out in an ‘industrial and civilian area’, where there were brick, metal and aluminum factories and a dairy farm. Hezbollah has not immediately commented on the attacks. The Lebanese government and the main leaders of many other countries have been trying for several weeks to end the war that has been going on for months.
