Ankara: Amid the Israel-Hamas war, Turkish state media has made a sensational claim of the arrest of the financial network head of Israeli intelligence agency Mossad by Istanbul police. According to Turkish state media agency Anadolu, Istanbul police have arrested Mossad’s financial network head Rexhepi in Turkey. According to security sources, Rexhepi conducted drone surveys and psychological operations against Palestinian politicians under the instructions of the Israeli intelligence service.

Security sources said on Tuesday that the Turkish National Intelligence Organization (MIT) has identified Liridon Rexhepi, arrested by Istanbul police, as the head of Mossad’s financial network. Apart from this, he transferred money to field agents in Turkey to collect intelligence on Syria. To prove Rexhepi’s activities, suspicious transactions are also included in his accounts, which were monitored by the Turkish intelligence agency MIT.

This was a major disclosure of Mossad’s financial network. MIT found out that Mossad funded its field agents in Turkey through Eastern European countries, mainly Kosovo. After this, funds from Kosovo were transferred to Syrian sources through Western Union and cryptocurrency.
