National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval on Monday held detailed discussions with his US counterpart Jake Sullivan during which they mainly discussed the implementation of the ambitious ‘India-US Initiative on Critical and Emerging Technologies’ (ICET), bilateral defense ties and Focused on the regional security situation.

US National Security Advisor (NSA) Sullivan has also been accompanied by a high-level delegation which includes senior US government officials and industry leaders. It is learned that the NSAs of both the countries also discussed the proposed India-Middle East-Europe Economic Corridor (IMEC), the launch of which is being delayed in view of the current situation in West Asia. Sullivan’s visit to India comes amid talks between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and US President Joe Biden in Italy.
