Kurdish astrophotographer Darya Kawa Mirza has taken an unprecedented, most advanced picture of the moon ever. Such an amazing picture of the moon, for which Darya Kawa Mirza took four days of continuous observation and then shot the photo. This picture shows the topography of the moon in amazing clarity in detail, revealing features that would have never been seen before. Mirza’s picture, which he described as the “clearest moon image” ever taken.

The last picture he took of the moon is of an astonishing 159.7 megapixels and its file size is 708 gigabytes, which is created by collecting more than 81,000 individual images. Photographer Darya Kawa Mirza told some interesting facts about the picture in a post on Instagram.

Mirza explained, “The saturation has been enhanced to highlight geological differences on the moon’s surface. Areas with red hues indicate high iron and feldspar content, while areas with blue hues have high titanium content. Rather than looking at the colours as ‘real’ or ‘fake’, it is more accurate to consider them as a tool that can simulate what one might see with advanced detection capabilities.”
