Kiev: Russia and Ukraine are attacking each other continuously. Meanwhile, Ukraine has made a new weapon. Ukraine has claimed that it has a new long-range weapon capable of hitting the interior of Russia without taking permission from the allies. Defense Minister Rustam Umerov has said that this indigenously built weapon, a combination of missile and drone, will ‘respond’ to Russian bombing. Ukrainian officials said that Russia’s continuous airstrikes since the war began in February 2022 and Ukraine’s Western allies imposing conditions on the use of long-range missiles in Russia created an urgent need to develop the ‘Paliyanitsia’ weapon.
Zelensky called it a ‘new class’ weapon
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has confirmed the existence of ‘Paliyanitsia’, named after a type of ‘bread’ from Ukraine. He has described it as a ‘new category’ weapon. Without giving much information, officials said that the new weapon was used for the first time on Saturday, targeting a Russian military installation on the 33rd anniversary of Ukraine’s independence from the former Soviet Union. Defense Minister Umerov said that this weapon will soon be used again in response to the attack on Ukraine.
Russia attacked Ukraine fiercely
Meanwhile, let us also tell here that Russia has attacked Ukraine fiercely. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has condemned the attacks by Russia and called it ‘disgusting’. He said that Russia has used more than 100 missiles of different types, about 100 drones in the attack. Zelensky has also confirmed that Russia’s attacks have caused great damage to Ukraine’s energy sector. He said, “Like Russia’s previous attacks, this was also disgusting in which important civilian infrastructure was targeted. From Kharkiv and Kiev to Odessa, our western regions were targeted.”
