These included Anil Kapoor-Madhuri Dixit’s ‘Beta’ and Aamir Khan’s ‘Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar’. These films gave a tough competition to each other at the box office. During this time, Shahrukh Khan’s ‘Baazigar’ and ‘Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge’ released were all over the place. Shahrukh Khan got the Best Actor award for these films.
