Regarding this entire incident, Special Agent in Charge Rafael Barros in Miami said in a press conference that the ‘Secret Service’ agent opened fire on a gunman present near the boundary of ‘Trump International Golf Club’ in West Palm Beach. He said that the agency cannot say for sure whether the arrested accused also “fired at our agent or not.” A US Secret Service agent hiding at a distance from where Trump was playing golf saw the barrel of a rifle visible from among the bushes about 400 yards away. Palm Beach County Sheriff Rick Bradshaw said that an agent fired a shot after which the suspect there fled.
